Hi, Friends!

If you were to ask me why I do what I do, I would tell you that when I was a child I wanted and needed others to believe in me in order to take a step forward. I wanted some guarantee of acceptance, success and a sense of worthiness that I could not source for myself.

My Big Why

Fast forward to today and my WHY: I do what I do because I want to be there for all of those people who don't have the belief in themselves. I am a reminder, a catalyst, a spark starter, a mirror of the greatest, most divine being within each and every person. In those moments when your faith is low or you don't believe that you have what it takes, I remind you of who you really are. 

My mother was that person for me and when she passed away, I felt like there was a piece of me that went with her. My source of unconditional love, unconditional acceptance, my reflection of worth was gone and in many ways, her absence sparked my journey back to me.

Take It Up A Notch

So why is knowing my why, not enough? Because in the grips of fear, doubt and insecurity, the why isn't always powerful enough to move me into action. So my reminder now is "What's My Why AND Why Now"?

Why Now?!! Last month marked 18 years since my Mom embarked on her journey beyond. She passed suddenly at the age of 54. I am 50 and the other morning, while I was brushing my teeth and staring back at my reflection, I became aware that if I were my mom, I would have 4 years left. FOUR YEARS LEFT. 

So WHY NOW? Because life is too short and for the first time in my life, I was able to experience my mortality from the perspective of having something to say, something to share, something that needs to be put out there, before it's too late.

I will not be one who dies with my music still inside of me and my calling, my purpose, my why is all about sponsoring the greatness in you so that you show up in the world as the fullest expression of who you are.
